    Nikken Foods is launched in the Sonezaki Shinchi area of Osaka's Kita Ward with 2 million yen in start-up capital.
  • October 1973
    Nikken headquarters moves to Nishinakajima, Yodogawa ward, Osaka City.

    Shizuoka factory completes first-phase construction.
  • March 1978
    Shizuoka factory completes second-phase construction.
