Nikken Foods was founded in Osaka in 1964, the year the Tokaido shinkansen (bullet train) was activated. In 1976, we established a factory in Shizuoka Prefecture's Fukuroi City, located at the midpoint of the 53 stations along Japan's ancient Tokaido highway connecting Tokyo and Kyoto. This site, which is convenient for logistics and blessed with rich natural surroundings, is the headquarter operations base for Nikken Foods.
