Striving for the best health for the greatest number

Nikken strives for "the best health for the greatest number" of individuals. As our innumerable products are widely used, our mission is to ensure that what we deliver to customers is safe and reliable. To that end, in October of 2011, we obtained ISO22000 and FSSC22000 certification for our food safety management system, meeting international standards as we continue our efforts to improve quality and food safety.
To satisfy customers and contribute to health through food products, we have adopted the following food safety policy governing research, development, manufacture, and sales.

Food Safety Policy

We adhere to established rules and rigid food safety to delivery products to customers which we feel are "safe for ourselves and our children to eat" in accordance with our Nikken philosophy.

  1. We will ensure that products delivered to customers are safe and reliable through our development, manufacture, and sales of natural flavors and health-oriented food products.
  2. We will strictly adhere to itemized laws, regulations, and rules governing our business activities, as well as to recognized customer requests.
  3. We will ensure that all employees are aware of our food safety policies and corporate goals and will conduct training to ensure sustainable maintenance of our food safety management system.
  4. We will facilitate smooth in-house and external communications.
  5. We will regularly review the food safety management system and strive to promote its ongoing improvement.

Certification Status

Nikken has obtained ISO22000 and FSSC22000 certification.

Scope of ISO22000 and FSCC22000 registration: the manufacture of natural flavors, beverage products and food ingredients obtained from plant, meat and marine products (mixing, pulverizing, granulation, extraction, concentration, and drying).
